We have received multiple reports about youtube videos not playing unless the tab is refreshed. There are also reported issues about embedded videos in Google Slides that are not playing back as expected. We are investigating the issue.
This issue has been resolved.
A recent update was pushed out to systems that is expected to resolve this issue. The work-around has been decommissioned. If you are still having trouble please try restarting your computer. If after a restart you are still experiencing playback issues send us a ticket.
A work-around has been implemented that should restore YouTube video playback functionality. We are currently monitoring this solution.
The source of the issue has been identified. We are working on getting changes implemented to correct this condition.
