We are in the initial stages of implementing a new system that is meant to resolve the slow login issue. We are in the initial stages of implementation.

Investigation of this issue is ongoing. Users can restart their computers from the login screen as a work-around to avoid the slow login issue for now.

Investigation into the cause of this issue is ongoing. If you are experiencing this issue still, the current recommended work-around is to restart your computer prior to attempting to login, particularly if you shut your computer off every day. After turning the computer on (or if it is already on), on the login screen select the power button in the bottom right portion of the screen, select Restart. After the restart you should be able to log in normally.
